Where to find us
Beginners and the Training Band meet at the Wortham Hall, Mount Kelly College (Mont Kelly Prep.), Tavistock, PL19 9JL from 6pm – 7.15pm on Wednesday evenings in term time and during part of the summer. The main band meets from 7.30 – 9.15pm all the year round. Players in the training band are welcome to sit in at senior band rehearsals. There is usually a short break during rehearsal allowing younger players to leave earlier if they wish. Until further notice Sunday practises will be arranged as required.
Visitors: If you are an experienced player who is visiting the Tavistock area please join us at any Wednesday evening rehearsal for a blow!

DIRECTIONS – one way system.
From Bedford Square in Tavistock take the A386 in the direction of Okehampton (first exit from the roundabout over the bridge onto Dolvin Road). At next mini roundabout take the second exit towards Okehampton. After a short distance turn right into Mount Tavy road (B3357) signposted Princetown. The school exit gate is on your left after 500 yards (450 m). The school has a one way system in operation, so continue on, taking the second turning on the left BEFORE the road bends to the right. There is a 30 mph sign on the left of a fairly narrow road which continues uphill where you will find an entrance to the school on your left through metal gates. Park in the second car park on your left. On foot follow the road past the car park, turn right and follow the curve of the wall next to a sports playground until you reach the Wortham Hall directly ahead.
